The Student Services department includes English Language Learners, Section 504, Healthcare Plans, Gifted and Talented, and Special Education. There are many areas of support for students in general education as well. These may include READ Act and Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).  If you have additional questions regarding available support programs and services, please reach out to our school administrator. 

In its capacity as the Local Education Agency, Orton Academy is responsible for assuring that our students identified as a student with a disability are provided access to education and individualized plans when appropriate. Students must be provided services and supported within the legal parameters of the Exceptional Children's Education Act (ECEA) and the Individuals Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
