It is an honor and a pleasure to be part of a team that is dedicated to providing a learning environment in which students with a profile of dyslexia can acquire the tools and strategies they need to achieve academic and social milestones. Each student who enters Orton Academy will be supported and challenged as an individual learner in a supportive instructional model based on the science of reading. Partnerships between the home, community, and school are necessary to make this possible.

Orton Academy is a free, public contract school authorized by the Education reEnvisioned BOCES to serve students with a profile of dyslexia or significant gaps in reading achievement throughout the Pikes Peak region and beyond.

Orton Academy was created through a decade-long determination to serve
and support those with dyslexia and related learning difficulties.
