Our Beginning
Orton Academy was founded in the Fall of 2020. Our humble start was launched with 3 dedicated teachers, 3 therapists, and a passion for helping students with learning difficulties. Today, our faculty, student body, and program offerings continue to grow!
Our Mission
Orton Academy makes learning accessible to students with dyslexia who experience reading and written language difficulties by providing core instruction and dyslexia therapy based upon the science of reading.
Our Vision
Orton Academy will become a regional leader in education by enabling students with a profile of dyslexia to overcome the hurdles of dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia; empowering students to become self-advocates; and providing a pathway to academic and personal success.

Our teachers also experienced a significant shift in their teaching when coming to Orton, with a renewed sense of purpose and fulfillment.
The team works well together and supports one another, which creates a positive environment that shows in the way they teach and run their classrooms. Our staff has an energy and enthusiasm to work together and think outside the box.
